8-Hour Side-by-Side Adventure
If a 2 to 4 hour ride leaves you wanting more, you’re not alone. Our 8-hour ATV rental from Northeast ATV Rentals in Gorham, New Hampshire gives you the full experience: epic climbs, mountaintop views, hidden waterfalls, a swim in the lake, and even a chance to grill lunch or ride into town for a bite.
Ready to explore further and stay out longer? This full-day ride takes you off the beaten path — and far beyond what most people ever get to see.
🏔️ Reach the Summit: Jericho Mountain & Wind Turbines
Your day starts heading west into Jericho Mountain State Park, where you’ll climb your way up to the summit — 2,454 feet above sea level — and find yourself standing beneath massive wind turbines, quietly spinning over the mountains. The view from up here is worth every mile.
This is your adventure moment. Breathe it in.
🪵 Discover the Warming Hut on the Second Peak
Continue the journey and you’ll reach the Jericho Warming Hut, perched atop another peak. It’s a scenic pit stop with picnic tables, charcoal grills, and an unbeatable view. Bring lunch or just rest your legs — this is what all-day rides are made for.
💧 Swim, Splash & Cool Off at Jericho Lake or Jericho Falls
Nothing beats a mid-ride swim — and Jericho Lake is just the place. Clean, calm water and a sandy beach make it the perfect spot to cool down on a summer day.
If you’re up for something quieter and off the trail, head toward Jericho Falls — a hidden waterfall tucked in the woods. It’s peaceful, shady, and perfect for a quick photo op or snack break.
🌲 Trailside Beauty: Discover Cascade Falls
Along the trail system, don’t miss a stop at Cascade Falls — a striking waterfall located directly on the ATV trail system. Unlike Jericho Falls, which is more secluded, Cascade Falls offers an impressive natural show right from your machine. It’s the perfect place to pause, take photos, and soak in the sights and sounds of the forest.
You don’t have to hike — just pull off the trail and enjoy.
🍽️ Lunch Options: Ride into Town or Grill Trailside
You’ve got options for lunch:
- Ride into Gorham: Public roads are ATV-legal, so you can roll right into town and eat at one of the many local restaurants — no trailer or truck needed!
- Picnic in the Park: Pack a cooler with sandwiches, drinks, and snacks and find a shady spot near the lake or warming hut.
- Grill It Yourself: Use one of the charcoal grills available at designated picnic areas for a true backcountry cookout.
🧭 Venture Further: The Success Trail System
Still have time — and fuel — to burn? Head north into the Success Trail system, a less-traveled network that leads toward Errol and even up toward Pittsburg, NH. The scenery shifts into dense forests, rugged paths, and peaceful open stretches where you might not see another rider for miles.
It’s the perfect way to cap off a full day of riding.
