IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT RENTING ATVs / SIDE-BY-SIDES

Rental Requirements

  • Drivers: Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license (present on the rental day).
  • Passengers: Drivers under 25 cannot carry passengers under 18.
  • Children as Passengers: Must be at least 5+ years old or able to sit with their feet flat on the floor, back against the seat, and hands firmly on the handholds.
  • Safety Gear:
    • Eye protection is required by all riders (available for $9.99).
    • Closed-toed shoes required (no sandals)
    • Bring weather-appropriate clothing (jacket, raincoat).
    • Helmets are provided and required.
  • Damage Liability: You are responsible for any damage to the rental until during your rental period. This includes repair costs and potential loss of rental revenue if the vehicle is out of service.
  • Alcohol and Drugs: No alcohol or drug consumption is allowed before or during operation. Violations result in immediate termination of the rental with no refund.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy

  • Reservation Deposit: $25 per machine, applied to rental price.
  • Cancellation Policy: Refundable with a $25 fee if canceled 2+ days before the reservation. No refunds within 2 days.
  • Trip Protection (10% of rental): Cancel for any reason until the start time. Refund or reschedule minus a $25 fee.

ATV Ethics & Regulations

  • Always operate at a reasonable rate of speed for the conditions and within your ability.
  • Speed Limit: 25 mph is the maximum trail speed (please note out machines are limited to 40 mph)
  • Trail Etiquette: Stay on marked trails, drive on the right, park single file, and do not attempt to pass a machine in front of you.
  • Late Returns: Late fees are $100, plus $1 per minute late. Getting lost or stuck is not a valid excuse. Remember, late returns affect the renter after you.

Damage Waiver

  • A damage waiver with a $3,000 maximum out of pocket expense is included in the rental rate.
  • You may upgrade your damage waiver to limit your liability to $1,500 maximum out of pocket expense per machine.
  • The Damage Waiver is $39 per machine for a 2-4 hour rental. $49 per machine for a 6-8 hour rental, and $59 per machine for a 24 hour rental.  
  • Renters are responsible for damage due to reckless driving (e.g., pinch flats, rollovers).
  • Please note that Damage Waiver only covers damages to the machine you are renting, not for damages done to others and/or others property.

Additional Information

  • Rentals Include: full tank of gas, helmet, trail map (digital & paper), GPS, and personal locator beacon.
  • Arrival Time: Arrive 30–45 minutes early to complete paperwork and safety briefing.
  • Rescues: Please be advised that in the event that one of your group’s side by side breaks down we will do our best to get you back on your rental as soon as possible.  Rescue/breakdown assistance resulting from aggressive driving will be charged a rescue fee of $50/hour.
  • Group Discounts: Sorry, we do not offer group discounts.
